Mr. Holladay has been with Parkway Advisors since its inception and has over 18 years of insurance investment and accounting experience. His background includes extensive insurance portfolio modeling experience aimed at reducing risk to an insurance company's surplus. With an in-depth understanding of statutory accounting, he is focused on how each investment transaction enhances the net investment income of the client. Of equal importance is his vision that each portfolio is unique and designed to provide for the specific insurance products that are sold by that client.
Prior to joining Parkway, Mr. Holladay was the portfolio manager for an insurance company. He has served on a national committee for insurance accounting software development. He also served as a beta tester for new industry statutory accounting software. In addition, he is experienced in understanding insurance liabilities and how they relate to the assets of the insurer. He has worked closely with top actuaries in the industry and his experience includes training with some of the industry's top actuarial software programs.
Mr. Holladay has specific experience in structured finance, cash flow sensitivity testing, and credit analysis. His passion and focus is incorporating all aspects of an insurance company's specific needs, products, and objectives in order to optimize the investment portfolio. Mr. Holladay also holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation. He has a degree in Finance/Psychology as a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University. His extensive knowledge is well respected within the industry and he is dedicated to staying informed of the changing regulations within the insurance industry. He is also a Registered Investment Advisory Representative.
Ms. Davidson has been with Parkway Advisors since its inception and has over 13 years of insurance accounting and financial reporting experience. Prior to joining Parkway, she worked in the investment department for a life insurance company. Other past experiences include working in the Financial Reporting department for a property and casualty insurance company. Ms. Davidson has a detailed knowledge of special insurance reporting from Schedule D, Schedule E, IMR/AVR, Summary Investment Schedule, and Risk Based Capital to A.M. Best Reports, among numerous others.
Ms. Davidson's unique in-depth knowledge of both investment vehicles and statutory accounting allows her to model the impact of potential or proposed investment choices on the financial statements of the company. Her professional approach, expertise, and attention to detail have aided her in the oversight of Parkway's client reporting staff, statutory reporting, Schedules D, DA, E, IMR/AVR, Summary Investment Schedule preparation, Risk Based Capital, and client performance reporting. Ms. Davidson is also a Registered Investment Advisory Representative.
Mr. Hoes' investment experience is enriched with over nine years of dedicated focus on insurance portfolios. He has a detailed understanding of investment impacts on the statutory financials of an insurer. As an insurance portfolio specialist, Mr. Hoes is primarily responsible for the management of insurance portfolios and analysis of multiple asset classes of securities. His expertise lies in analyzing and investing insurance assets based upon an overall total book yield approach and structuring portfolios to optimize the relationship between assets and the specific products of each client. Moreover, he grasps true insurer diversification as it relates to surplus/unassigned funds. Mr. Hoes has a proficient understanding of credit analysis for various securities in addition to being versed in cash flow modeling and testing on various portfolios.
Mr. Hoes is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A&M in Commerce, Texas. Mr. Hoes truly enjoys being able to serve clients as he works diligently to structure the best possible portfolio for each client based on their unique needs. He is continually researching and learning more about insurers and Parkway's ability to offer services and results that best match each insurer's specific desires. Mr. Hoes is also a Registered Investment Advisory Representative.
Mr. Timmermann joined Parkway Advisors in 2012. Since this time, he has gained an understanding of investing for insurance companies as well as the effects that these transactions have for statutory accounting. Mr. Timmermann assists in managing our clients' portfolios while focusing on book yield and proper diversification. He is proficient in assessing risk within a portfolio and properly addressing these risks. Finally, he is knowledgeable in credit analysis for various securities in addition to being versed in asset liability modeling on various portfolios.
Mr. Timmermann is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual major in economics and finance with an emphasis in accounting. He enjoys the interaction between clients and Parkway Advisors. Having this close relationship with clients allows for effective management and allows us to best serve our clients. Mr. Timmermann is also a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.
Mrs. Richardson joined Parkway in 2004. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from McMurry College in 1979. Her primary responsibilities include regulatory compliance oversight, client services and accounting and administrative functions for Parkway. She has over 20 years experience in the investment industry. Ms. Richardson is a Certified Public Accountant and a Registered Investment Advisory Representative.
Ms. Dorsett joined Parkway in 2011. Her primary responsibilities include statutory accounting and reporting for each insurance client. These include schedules D, DA, and E, monthly client account reconciliations, preparation of quarterly valuation reports and IMR/AVR reporting. In addition she is instrumental to the investment team at Parkway through her facilitation of numerous back office accounting services. She has her Bachelor of Business Administration in banking which also included an accounting focus. Her attention to detail in combination with her previous work experiences in banking, accounting and insurance enabled her to quickly add value to the team in the areas of process development and work flow.
Ms. Nigro has previously worked for multi-line and life insurance companies and joined Parkway in 2008. Her past experiences working for insurers ranged from processing claims and payment disbursement to the preparation of claims documents. Ms. Nigros' primary responsibilities with Parkway include monthly client account reconciliation, preparation of quarterly valuation reports, maintaining trade confirmations and back office administration. She also provides assistance with statutory reporting, preparation of schedule D, DA, & E along with back office accounting and compliance related matters.
