Theron Holladay Jr.

Theron “TJ” Holladay Jr. serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of Parkway, where he oversees the firm’s regulatory compliance framework and supports the ongoing integrity of Parkway’s advisory platform. In this role, TJ works closely with senior leadership to ensure that the firm’s policies, procedures, and business practices remain aligned with applicable SEC regulations, fiduciary standards, and the evolving requirements of the insurance investment landscape.

TJ is a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with dual minors in Business and Ancient Greek.

At Parkway, TJ has experience across business development and insurance consulting functions, including peer group analysis, custom portfolio reporting, asset-liability management (ALM) immunization, and enterprise risk management (ERM) planning. This background allows him to approach compliance not only from a regulatory perspective, but also with a practical understanding of how investment decisions, reporting, and operational processes impact insurance clients.

As Chief Compliance Officer, TJ is responsible for regulatory oversight, compliance monitoring, recordkeeping, and the preparation and maintenance of Parkway’s Form ADV and related disclosures. He also serves as a resource to Parkway employees, helping ensure that client solutions are delivered in a manner consistent with the firm’s fiduciary obligations and commitment to best practices. TJ is a Registered Investment Advisory Representative.

TJ’s interests outside of work include Ancient Greek and fencing, disciplines that reflect his appreciation for study and precision. He trained in fencing for several years through the Sewanee Fencing Society, where he held a leadership role. He is actively involved in the Abilene community as a board member of the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council, where he contributed to the development of the Abilene Storybook Experience, an augmented-reality initiative supporting local arts and storytelling.
